As I read this, I was biting into my square of Dark Chocolate, 90% cocoa, that is my only real indulgence, and I have it after lunch, dinner, and evening snack. So I had to smile when I saw this on you list as well!
My dark-chocolate hack, which I got from the dietitian at work, is to break the squares into at least 4 teeny pieces and savor them rather than chewing them.
Yep, suck them! I have a real sweet tooth, and when I had to cut out all sugar, the one thing that seemed actually good for you if taken in small amounts was dark chocolate. I thought it was so bitter at first, but better than nothing. But over the years, with no other sugar input, I've gotten to adore it! Anything lower than 90% seems too sweet.
Thank you so much for sharing and taking the challenge and putting this out in the world. Two minutes is quick. ❤️ happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
