I am so sorry you have to have shoulder surgery. I would be incredibly anxious too. I assume you’ll take time off from work - and of course can’t drive or use your hand. Is your deck set up for resting, reading and drinking wine? Charlie loves the counter too - sigh.
I do not know how I found you but I am glad I did. This is my first comment. I am wishing you Good Luck and may what is happening in your country not step on you badly. I am Canadian and will be 74 years young in May. I watched in horror when Trump #1 happened. I could not believe what was happening. Now we are in Trump #2. OMG! My University education was in Political Science so I understand your system more than most people. You have my total sympathy. Take care of yourself and ride it out. Us Canadians are now living through a Federal Election. Politicians! Bah. They will promise anything to get elected. Once they get elected, the hard truth arrives...not all promises are doable or should be done. It is the same in the US system. I wish you well with whatever you are going through personally and hope your surgery goes well. Take care and Hugs from Canada. BTW - my kitties love the counter too, especially when I am trying to cook.
